Hummingbird Listening Speech  and Language treats a range of speech sound disorders and speech and language delay secondary to hearing loss. We specialize in facilitating spoken speech and language and developing listening skills  for individuals with hearing impairment using their aided residual hearing or a listening device such as a coacher implant, using an Auditory Verbal/Listening and Spoken Language Approach.  We also provide Auditory Training sessions for adults who have  received cochlear implants and want to  develop/improve their listening skills. 

The process for an initial evaluation at Hummingbird Listening Speech and Language involves an assessment of the areas of concern. This may include functional listening,  speech and /or language skills.  Based on the results of the evaluation, a personalized treatment plan will be developed.

The frequency of therapy sessions at Hummingbird Listening Speech Language will depend on the individual's specific needs and treatment plan. Typically, therapy sessions are scheduled once or twice a week.
